The Runaways

The Runaways, the movie featuring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, as we all know is based on Joan Jett's first band called The Runaways. But what we didn't know (or at least I didn't know) was their story and especially the story of Cherie Currie, the front woman and singer of the group that even shadows Kristen's role as Joan Jett. I would highly recommend this movie, if not for girl power, then for the amazing costumes which are insanely accurate I found after digging through old photos of the famed band.
